Will Bluecrew accommodate my work schedule to get the vaccine?

Yes. If you need to take time off work to receive the vaccine, notify Bluecrew and the client in advance. We will excuse the absence. Go into the app >click help>click time off to notify Bluecrew. Do not use the “cancel shift” function in the app. Upon request, any applicable sick leave will be applied.

If you have side effects after being vaccinated and are unable to report to work please notify Bluecrew and the client before your shift and we will excuse the absence. Go into the app >click help>click time off to notify Bluecrew. Upon request, any applicable sick leave will be applied.

Is receiving the vaccine mandatory?

No. We are strongly encouraging all Crew Members to get vaccinated, but we are not mandating anyone receive the vaccines at this time. We realize this is a personal decision and we’re committed to providing access to resources that help Crew Members make informed decisions. More information is available at this link

How does being vaccinated impact workplace safety measures?

All Crew Members must continue to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols. Proper mask wearing, hand washing, and maintaining social distancing will continue to be enforced for everyone.
