Benefit Offerings: Crew members that meet the below eligibility requirements are eligible to enroll in The American Worker benefit plans including five medical options, dental, vision, life/AD&D and disability. You are also eligible for the Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) and may contribute to an American Funds Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
What are my options? Custom-designed around the unique health and wellness needs of its employees, Employbridge’s benefits program provides a variety of valuable coverage and copay options. Please refer to the attached guide below for detailed information on the different benefit options.
Enrollment Schedule: You may enroll in The American Worker benefits as a new hire until 30 days after your first paycheck. If you miss the deadline after your initial enrollment period, you will have to wait until the next Open Enrollment to join. You do not need to enroll in the EAP. You may begin, change or stop IRA deductions at any time. When enrolling in benefits, you must provide personal identification data. You don’t have to sign up for all the options— choose what fits your individual needs, and budget.
When will my coverage of the enrolled benefits begin? American Worker coverage will start on the Monday following your first paycheck.
Payment of Premiums: Premiums for American Worker benefits will be taken from your weekly paychecks. Each premium taken provides coverage for the following Monday through Sunday. If you miss a paycheck, you may make payment directly to The American Worker to keep your coverage current. If you go six weeks without a premium paid, your coverage will be terminated.
