Difference between Requesting a Day Off and Canceling

Cancel = CANCELS ENTIRE JOB POST (ALL SHIFTS) Request Day Off = SPECIFIC DAY OFF

Updated over 2 years ago

You may have accepted a job that has multiple shifts and then discover you are unable to fulfill the attendance requirement for that job. Do you need a day off due to a personal matter or illness? Can you no longer work your job because your availability has changed?

Request A Day Off - If you only need a day or two due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, mild non-job related injury, personal emergency), take the steps outlined in this article to request a shift off.

Cancel Job - If you need to be completely removed from your current job on the Bluecrew app due to a change in your employment needs or availability take the following steps:

  • Select your job in your app

  • Scroll to the bottom of the job description and select “Cancel Job”
