When viewing your paystubs from Paylocity, it is important to note that Reimbursements are listed as Negative Deductions. Depending on where you are looking at your stub, they will either be Red in Parentheses or show as a negative number by having a minus symbol in front of the amount. See below for two examples:
A deduction is something taken out of your paycheck, so a negative deduction is actually something being added to your paycheck. We understand this may be confusing at first glance, but please understand it means your reimbursement was processed correctly. Reimbursements are processed at the same time as deductions, both of which are processed after taxes have already been calculated and taken out of your paycheck, since Reimbursements are not taxed.
